Same seed, worldwide
The daily puzzle uses the UTC date as its seed. Open it in the morning in one country or late at night in another and the needle is in the same tile, as long as the UTC date matches. The puzzle number is the count of days since 1 January 2026. Puzzle 1 is that first date.
The countdown above reaches the next UTC midnight. When it does, a search you have not started switches to the new field on its own. If you have already swept a tile, this field stays put and a button offers the new one. That way a run is not thrown away at midnight.
Finish once and that time, those tries, and that row of squares are stored as the day's result. You can replay for a better personal best. The stored daily line and the streak do not move. The streak grows when you finish on the next UTC date after the last one you finished. Skip a date and the following finish starts again at one.
