What this page is
"A needle in a haystack" is an old English way to describe a search with poor odds. This site turns that saying into a small daily puzzle you play free in your browser. There is no download. The straw and the needle are drawn on a canvas in the page. They are not copied from another game's art, characters, or music.
Shared daily puzzles became a common browser format after Wordle, with one puzzle per date and a short result people paste into a chat. This page follows that shape. The seed is the UTC date, the puzzle number counts days since 1 January 2026, and the result is a line of colored squares. You can play it on the home page, the find the needle game page, or the daily page. The rules explain the gestures and the hint words.

There is no button here that leads to a store page, a download, or an official site for that game. The name on this site uses the everyday saying, not that product's title.
Privacy
The site has no account and no server-side save. Best times, the streak, games played, and the first daily result for each UTC date are stored in local storage under the key needle-haystack-v1. That data stays on your device. Copy and Share use your browser's own clipboard or share sheet. The page does not receive the text back. There are no ads and no third-party trackers in this project.
To delete the record, clear site data for this origin in your browser. That removes the streak and the best times. It does not change the daily puzzle, which is computed from the date.
